| “Being born at 4.31am in the morning was not the best start I could have had. As soon as I was up and ready to rock, Daddy and Rox went home and I was told to go to sleep. The next day was fairly boring until the pediatrician told Mummy that I had an infection and would have to have tests done to check for various infections including chest infections, the MRSA bug etc. I had multiple blood samples taken which was very difficult, as my veins would not give up blood easily. I ended up looking like a pincushion. I also had a lumbar puncture to check for meningitis . They started me on a massive dose of anti-biotic's which had to be given every 12 hours for 10 doses. They woke Mummy and me up at 6am and I was dosed again at 6pm. I spent 6 days in the hospital where everyone was very nice to me and kept making a fuss of me. It was lovely to spend time getting to know Mummy before I finally got to go home and meet all the rest of my family and their friends.
